Cancellation & Refund Policy
Session Cancellations
These terms apply to Individual Counsel and Relationship Counsel sessions. If it isn't the right work for you, or you change your mind, you'll receive a full refund before your first session. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, including for a first session, the session is forfeited and not refunded. Missing a session without notice, or arriving more than 15 minutes late, also forfeits the session. If Derek Shackelford cancels or reschedules a session, you choose a new time or a full refund. Once a session has taken place, there is no refund.
Programs & Workshops
Paid programs and workshops may have specific cancellation terms provided at the time of registration. Unless otherwise stated, cancellations made 7 or more days before the program start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days may be eligible for credit toward a future program.
Retainers & Packages
Ongoing counsel retainers and packages may be cancelled at any time. Refunds for unused sessions within a package are determined on a pro-rated basis at the discretion of Shackelford Strategic Counsel and Education, LLC.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original method of payment. For questions about a specific refund, contact shack@shackstrategies.com.
